Step 1: go to your steam account, unsubscribe all your mods.

If I can get some serious help I'm more than willing to buy someone a few dollars worth of games over steam. I can provide screenshots as needed though I'm unsure as how to provide a complete mod list. I really really really need help on this- any and everything is appreciated! I even tried deleting and redownloading the game, but clearly I didn't do it right, as my mods resubscribed and it resynced data (from my computer I guess)- I didn't even lose my saves. I tried my best to fix it, but my skills are limited. I've read online and apparently this is a common problem and it has to do with a mod being removed or changed from the steam workshop. The skyrim launcher, as I'm sure you all know, updates your mods- apparently, overtime, I've subscribed or been subscribed to over 160 mods, and for some reason it updates (checks) all of them.Īt #15 (killmove control, which is a synced workshop file), it says it encounters an error:įailed to get details for a subscribed file! Steam error 15. Whenever I try to boot up the game, I experience a sudden crash- this is tied to "steam error 15" when trying to load up mods. That said, I've got a very competent PC and at the moment I'm trying to run about 50 mods- 20 or so of which I have found on the workshop and the rest from a graphic enhancing collection. I run through steam and only run mods through steam, as I'm not a very technically gifted person and my demands aren't ridiculously high. So I've recently been attempting to get back into skyrim.
